Syu, a diligent student, helped her mother sell nasi lemak at a small stall before heading to school. She dreamed of expanding the family business and making her mother proud.
After graduating, Syu worked at a corporate company but still helped at the stall on weekends. She realized her true passion lay in the family business.
Syu planned to open her own nasi lemak shop, blending her mother’s traditional recipes with a modern twist. Her mother gave her full support.
With the support of her loyal customers, Syu founded the brand Sambal Lesung. The name symbolizes her unique sambal and the hard work and determination she showed in building her business.
